I notice a common thread as to where I often find awe. I was always intrigued with photographs that were of a scene in the distance and had a twig or something thin in the foreground of the picture. Much like a “photobomb.” except intended. From the moment I ever held a camera I almost always wanted to have some sort of foliage in the foreground. You can see in this painting that’s exactly what I did.
When I start writing about my art I make all sorts of discoveries like this that were unnoticed as being a pattern. Writing causes me to become more connected with the painting and also more connected with myself through these discoveries.
